Experience
Looking for a voice talent with the essence of Ms. Frizzle?
One who has a great home studio as well as a gneiss rock collection?

I have had an interesting journey being a high school Earth Science Teacher, a scientific researcher, a New York City bartender for over 16 years, and a classically trained actress/singer.
I love to infuse all of my unique life experiences into voice acting.
I love to receive direction and collaborate to help create and fulfill each unique project. Fast runaround, reliable and consistent.

I teach voiceover acting to children and teens through Kool Kids Voice Acting, and have led programs at Juilliard and the Brooklyn Montessori School. Hence, I love to make silly noises with people of all ages.

I would love to work with you! Check out my website at www.tiffanymay.com, or email me directly at tiff@tiffanymay.com.

Rock on!

About
Tiffany May is a New York City based theatre and voice actor, storyteller, and teaching artist. She has voiced hundreds of commercials, plus instructional videos, animations, documentaries, medical narrations, and video games.
She actually recorded a Covid-19 commercial while having Covid-19.

Her voice has an earthy texture accented by a ‘lovable rasp’ which warms up any script. Relatable, trustworthy and real, Tiffany’s tone reflects her unique personality and background. She loves to receive direction and collaborate to help create and fulfill each project, quickly and reliably.
Tiff has been trained in Musical Theater at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and in Drama at Circle in the Square Theatre School; improv/storytelling at the Upright Citizens Brigade and The People’s Improv Theatre. She also is a real life Miss Frizzle- a complete science dork.

She has a Masters in Earth Science Education, was a tenured New York City Public School Earth Science teacher and scientific researcher in the field of Geochemistry through a fellowship at Columbia University.

She has worked in the field next to renowned scientists in Wyoming and Australia, which has greatly expanded her rock collection.

After teaching about stars and plate tectonics, she followed her dream to be a voice actor. She still flexes her teacher muscles educating young voice actors at Juilliard, the Colorado Fine Arts Center, the Brooklyn Montessori School, and remotely with Kool Kids Voice Acting.

A member of Actors Equity Association, she has performed as a professional actress regionally and in New York City. Favorite roles include Ariel in ‘The Tempest,’ Hermia in ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream,’ Gilmer in ‘Godspell,’ and Maggie in ‘Dancing at Lughnasa.’ She dwells in the Big Apple, and still loves her magical rocks and observing wild weather patterns. Tiff is an avid participant in the Coney Island Mermaid Day Parade, is obsessed with the octopus, tsunamis and the Yellowstone Supervolcano.
