Experience
With several years under my belt working full time from my broadcast quality home studio, I love every day at this job even more than the last! My clients range from medical products to children's projects, and are spread around the globe.
I was a veterinary technician for 7 years so making medical terminology easy to understand and sound natural, is second nature to me. Plus, we can have a good chat about all things pets!
Tour guiding remains one of my greatest passions, and I spent many happy years traveling the world showing people amazing places, telling wonderful stories. Those skills are crucial in the booth, as I connect with listeners around the world.
I was an animal trainer while I traveled, and am also certified for special canines (scent detection, controlled aggression, and... puppy school!) So while we can chat about how I used to live and work with the wolves on Game of Thrones, my applicaible skills here are that I am CAPTIVATING and ENGAGING - have you ever tried holding the attention of a class of people for an hour with 15 puppies running around and still impart the knowledge needed?! :)
Theatre and drama were a staple for me in my youth, continued into a Bachelor's degree in theatre and film at university level. I soon found improv and began perfoming and competing to my hearts content, which means I have fun every day in the booth, am extremely directable, and can pivot on point.
There's so much more! Wilderness lodge manager, chef, dog musher... and of course VO wise - I've trained with every top name in the biz (and continue to do so!) to bring you only the best (along with a terrible pun or two) every time.
