Since then my experience looks like this:

About
Hello,
My name is Rebecca Parr and I'm a voiceover and actress currently based in the South West of the UK. I was very young when people told me that I had a great voice and that I should speak for a living! During my Radio Broadcasting Diploma in Ireland, I realised I had an excellent news presenter voice and was used for all the News Broadcasts. I've always naturally had an RP accent, but also an excellent ear for accents (I'm very musical) but having moved around the world and meeting different people from all over, it meant I was hearing all sorts of National and International accents. After graduating with my BA Acting, I moved to Beijing and made a lot of friends from the US and Australia. When I moved to New Zealand, I was hearing a lot of Australian and South African accents and the Kiwi one of course. This has meant I'm now easily able to mimic accents that I hear and that people talk to me in. Whilst living in Beijing, I became one of the most used British and American accents in Beijing for English Language Learning Materials for Chinese students learning English and working for around 15 different studios throughout the city. Since moving to New Zealand and back to the UK, I have worked on numerous projects such as commercials, documentary narration, On Hold messages, ADR for Feature Films, Audio books, and character voices.
