As an engineering student at Louisiana Tech University, my involvement with the 10 watt campus radio station began out of pure curiosity regarding the station facilities and equipment. I ended up on the air as a DJ. Later the same year, I happened across the local 100,000 watt commercial station in town quite by accident and - again ended up on the air. And although I dabbled in radio engineering, I had been bitten by the radio bug. Eventually, I did a 14 year stint in television, built my own TV production business, worked at a national Ad Agency, and have been a production director for a large radio company - all while building my freelance v/o business.
