I’ve done a little bit of everything: Historical Documentaries; Science Explainer Narrations; Movie Trailers; straight up Advertising; and lately I’ve been pulled into Voice Acting in movie roles, Video Games and of course, AudioBooks.
In a typical day I spend 4-6 hours in my professional-treated Home Studio, recording and editing finals for projects, submitting new auditions, writing and rewriting for the spoken word. I do this a lot and I do it for a living. And I think I’m pretty good at it.
I’ve done long-form and short-form. I have a professional in-home studio working on a variety of Mac products (hardware and software) as well as a selection of condenser microphones I’ve collected over the years. Everything from Sennheiser to Lewitt to Neumann. Universal Avalon coupled with am Apollo Twin X is my pre-amp setup and I have a pair of Hifiman reference headphones. I use Izotope, Universal Audio and Waves plug-ins for audio analysis and needed repair before final production. I have the ability to perform Spectrum Analysis and Waveform Stats.
