I get this question a lot: how did you get started? While in my second year of college at New Mexico State University, I was sitting in Milton Hall contemplating my future when a classmate stopped to chat. She encouraged me to pursue broadcasting. Immediately, I made an appointment with my Advisor who was also the Broadcasting Department Head, and I was hooked! Those early days of voicing the local PBS television promos set the stage for what was to come...

Upon graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, I moved home to Albuquerque to host the overnight show at an Alternative Rock radio station. I pursued radio as a career for many years in a variety of different formats including Adult Contemporary, Christian, News Talk, and Classic Rock.

Then I moved to California to work at a National Radio Network where I wrote, produced, and voiced hourly newscasts. Later my path brought me to Arizona where I earned a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership degree at Grand Canyon University. Go Lopes!
Using to the fullest what I gleaned from the GCU Masters' program, I bet on myself and started my own business. It's been an amazing journey serving clients in Brazil, Spain, the United Kingdom, Israel, Canada and the United States, to name a few. My voice has been heard on campaigns for Infiniti, NASA, PGA Tour, AWS, Lume, Deloitte, the CDC, Goldman Sachs, Blue Buffalo, Chevrolet and more!

Currently, I work as a full-time Voice Over Actor from my Source Connect equipped professional sound studio at Jenna James Voice LLC.
