About
My journey in radio began back in 1996, when I got my start as an AM board operator. A year later, opportunity came calling — quite literally — when the assistant program director of a sister FM station “stole” me away to become their Production Specialist and Live Podcast Producer. I spent the next 15+ years refining my skills, producing everything from commercials and brand imaging to helping shape the early podcast landscape.
When my position was eliminated in 2012, I transitioned to a new role as Continuity Assistant and Radio Ad Copywriter for another radio group. But I wasn’t ready to leave behind the skills I’d built — voiceovers, audio editing, mixing, and sound design were too much a part of who I am. So I took the leap into freelance work, built a professional home studio, and launched Beth Jordan Productions — where I’ve been bringing stories to life through sound ever since.
