About
The TDLR; I love voice acting, I am a member of the Moose Cree First Nations, Military Vet (Signals and Communications). I have a background in Engineering, Science and Technology. Aside from military, I have manufacturing and medical instruments field experience.
I’d rather you listen and decide, but my sound has been classified and as subject matter by many I’ve worked with as warm, modern, and confident, with an easy authority that works especially well for explainers, technical content, and brand storytelling. I focus on clarity and connection first, making complex ideas feel accessible without sounding instructional or over-produced, I swear I am not trying to sell myself here, it’s a fact.
I act, I can display my voice in many variations, so you really can’t based it off of a demo!
So, yeah I have a background in audio production and years of hands-on DAW experience, I can deliver broadcast-ready audio from my professional studio and work comfortably with directed sessions, live or remote just what any producer / director would prefer.. I’m fast, responsive, and easy to collaborate with, whether you need a clean pickup or a full session run. Even grunts are needed some days.
Well, let’s see what makes my voice different..
As a kid I was raised in Maine, picked up the down-east accent which drove my mom crazy when we moved back to Canada.
My mom side of the family is all Moose Cree First Nations, my dad’s side first generation Irish, hence the last name. I was located in a mix of English, French, and Cree, I was immersed at the beginning of my life with a variety of accents very close to me. Now being located in Australia for the last several years, the Aussie accent is assimilating on to my voice ( resistance is futile! ). I didn’t realize until recently speaking with a particular well known voice director that he couldn’t distiguish where I was from.
I decided to pursue voice acting because I love to talk and read…try to make sense of what I am reading at different angles. I am also introverted, but I don’t let that stop me from having fun with my acting. When I am comfortable, I tend to laugh and smile a lot, not because I am nervous, but I to spread that around to others around me, in and outside the booth.
