I began my training as a musician and educator. I earned an undergraduate in Music Education where I discovered my fascination with power of the voice to convey emotion and meaning. I moved to Israel and NYC to complete a Masters degree in music and become an ordained Cantor (Progressive Judaism).
After ordination, I moved to Northern California where I served a large Silicon Valley congregation for nearly a decade, until family called me back to the Midwest. I continued my training in pastoral care (NYC and Columbus), becoming a chaplain and spiritual care provider in the healthcare setting. I put all those skills together, opening a music lesson studio, where I teach voice, piano and guitar. As a lifelong educator, I'm is able to communicate intricate ideas to students of all ages in ways that truly engage.
I am a musician, educator, Cantor and small-business owner. My diverse experiences and skills have dovetailed beautifully into my career a voice over actor.
My time living in Italy and Israel, as well as in many different regions within the United States, has shaped my natural affinity for languages and accents. These experiences have also deepened my appreciation for the power of clear communication and the importance of understanding and connection.
