Marissa first discovered her passion for voiceover while earning her B.A. in Theatre (acting) from the University of Southern California. The day she graduated she set up her home studio and started her full-time voiceover career.

Voice acting came naturally to Marissa since she began her creative journey as a singer and theatre kid. She started training vocally with Seth Riggs (Speech Level Singing) when she was 9 years old, participated in over 50 community and professional theatre productions between the ages of 7-15, and earned her SAG/AFTRA and AEA union status during that time. At age 15 she switched gears and started a rock band and by 19 toured the country twice on the Vans Warped Tour opening for artists like Katy Perry and The Kooks.

Marissa still sings everyday and offers private singing and voiceover lessons to kids/teens ages 5 -19 over Zoom.

Outside of voiceover, Marissa directs theatre and performs on stage when she can. She has received two LA Critics Choice Awards for her work in Exit the King (City Garage Theatre) and In Circles (Odyssey Theatre Ensemble).

Her varied background has proven itself invaluable on her voiceover journey. Today, she loves helping her clients bring their stories to auditory life in an easy, timely, and budget friendly manner.
