Bio and Credits

Voice Age

I’ve been working professionally in the VO industry since 2008. I focus on commercial, corporate narration, eLearning, safety messages, promo spots, PSAs and telephony systems. Additionally, I have voiced radio spots as well as audiobooks. One of the most fun and interesting voice over jigs was for 10 dollar river tubing.

I’m a member of WOVO, attend the largest VO conference (VO ATL) and believe in honing my craft with continuing education with leading coaches in the industry. I love meeting new people in the VO industry and attend many different VO events in the Atlanta area. Also, I look at my voice over career with a business mind and work diligently on growing my voice over business. While focusing on the business of VO, I also have a lot of fun and turnaround projects quickly.

In addition to continued voice over study and improvements, I stay up to date on current technology in the areas of music and voice over. Staying up-to-date with technology is very important and helps to improve the quality of recordings and the speed of delivery.

Before my voice over career, I had a music career. My music career began at age 14, I studied piano as a primary study, competing in classical music competitions, performing recitals, accompanying others in quarters & duets, and later playing in various bands. I had the opportunity to study at Brevard (and a university in Jacksonville) and continued to improve and performed with many different jazz, heavy metal, country rock & classical orchestral groups throughout high school and after. During this time period and from that time on, I also studied orchestration and composition.

I also worked in the IT field which is where I first discovered voice over. The person who was supposed to record the emergency phone message did not show up that day. My manager knew that I was already studying voice over and asked if I would record the message or the day…and get paid for it! That really got me interested in VO and the rest is history.

Today, I work as a full-time voiceover artist from my studio 20 minutes outside of Atlanta. In addition to working as a voiceover artist, I also teach audio editing, help others improve their recording studio sound and scores music for film, TV and media projects
