My career in voice over is linked to a strong interest in theatre and film. I've always had a creative side and after graduating from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a Speech Communications degree, I landed my first job in television production with “Hometime”, one of America’s first “Do-It-Yourself” TV programs to air on PBS. Although I'm still hopeless (and dangerous) with power tools, I truly enjoyed my introduction to television pre/post production!

The second phase of my career (25 years) was in a corporate setting as a professional recruiter working with Fortune 500 companies. However, my love for the arts and creativity continued to feed my entrepreneurial spirit as I decided to launch my own voice over business. Now, as a full-time VOA, I welcome the diversity and challenges the voice over industry offers and enjoy the client relationships I've developed. Collaborating with client companies all over the world to see their projects come to fruition (successfully and efficiently) is so much fun!

As a native to Minnesota, I enjoy the outdoors and make the most of our short summers and long winters by camping, hiking, biking and playing a little bocce ball! I have a couple of beautiful Airedale Terriers and love working with dogs. I also volunteer with Can Do Canines, a non-profit organization that trains dogs for special assistance skills (hearing loss, mobility challenges, type 1 diabetes, autism and seizure disorders).
