Experience
I've been a professional voice actor for over 3 years with a background in theater, and I've lent my unique voice to many projects, including commercials, video games, audiobooks, explainers, e-learning trainings, medical & corporate narrations, political spots, and more! I've voiced for major companies and brands including Audible, Disney+, Xfinity, Capital One, Dutch Boy Paint, Krusteaz, Pride Radio, Y-mAbs Therapeutics, The Trevor Project, and more.

I'm genderfluid and I feel affirmed voicing roles across the gender spectrum, including those for women and non-binary folks.

My engineer-approved home studio includes a Rode NT1 mic, Synco D2 shotgun mic, Solid State Logic SSL2 audio interface, Beyerdynamic DT 770 headphones, Reaper, Audacity, and the 2021 MacBook Air. And when you need it, I can offer you SAME-DAY turnaround!

My voice is on the Millenial / Gen Z cusp and my sound spans chill and real, relatable and conversational, wry and witty, warm and trustworthy, rebellious and edgy, knowledgeable and authoritative, playful and sassy, and my favorite - the non-voiceover voiceover.

I've enjoyed studying the ins and outs of all VO genres with Darren Dunstan, Elizabeth Bunnell, Jen Sukup, Erica Schroeder, Ed Lewis, Andy Roth, Roger Becker, Carrie Faverty, Paul Liberti, Jason Sasportas, and Julia Schoeffling

I'm also a member of Blue Wave Voiceover, diverse collective of progressive political voice actors who look and sound like America today! Check us out at http://www.bluewavevoiceover.com.

About
Hey I'm Allegra! My pronouns are they/them. As a proud non-binary and queer person, I enjoy bringing my full, authentic self to voiceover. I feel affirmed and comfortable voicing roles for women and non-binary folks.

I love using my acting talent, vocal range, and unique perspective to breathe life into multi-dimensional characters, tell captivating stories, and amplify important messages. Intentional storytelling and performance have been a through-line in my life. Born in Brooklyn, I was raised by a family of modern dancers in Shaker Heights, Ohio. Summers were spent watching as many cartoons as possible and assisting my parents with dance workshops for adults and children with disabilities. This early experience instilled in me a drive to create art that helps others.

I grew up acting, dancing, and writing plays, leading me to study playwriting and screenwriting at SUNY Purchase College and earn my B.A. in Women & Gender Studies from Hunter College. Throughout and after college, I volunteered and worked for a wide range of organizations that advance justice for low-income communities of color and LGBTQ+ folks. I care deeply about incorporating this commitment to liberation for marginalized communities in everything I do, including voiceover.

Acting has remained one of my greatest passions and most recently, I have enjoyed acting in remote plays produced by Breaking & Entering Theatre Collective and Theater Accident.

I have continued to be infatuated with cartoons and animated storytelling, especially as shows like The Legend of Korra, Steven Universe, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, and The Dragon Prince are centering BIPOC and LGBTQ+ voices that are too often erased in children’s media. It is my dream to voice characters in cartoons and video games that make LGBTQ+ young people feel seen and affirmed.
